The Gig-Cajon - new from Drumport

With its built-in microphone, the Gig-Cajon becomes the ideal companion for live performances and rehearsals where the acoustic sound of a cajon is simply not loud enough.

The microphone built into the inside of the Cajon is quickly connected via an XLR socket on the back of the Cajon. True "plug and play", fiddly microphone holders or stands are a thing of the past.

Available in three versions

No tropical woods are used for the front plates in "Santos Rosewood", "Farfalla Nera" and "Walnut"; they are reconstituted wood from fast-growing trees. The boards are individually adjusted to the Cajon to guarantee an optimal fit without disturbing edges.

Beech body

The body is made of beech multiplex and is coated with water-soluble varnish, just like the front plate.

Damping element included

A snare carpet with 12 spirals, which can be damped according to taste, provides a controlled but crisp snare sound. A removable foam element allows the sound to be additionally adjusted to suit individual needs.
